All games are divisible into two classes: the games of the hour, and the games of all time.


Every game is always a portrait of the guys who maked it.


There are two motives for playing many games: one that you enjoy it; the other that you can boast about it.

Playing is to the game what exercise it to the body.


Yesterday's answers are inadequate for today's problems.


To make a great game a man must be very idle as well as very industrious.


That we want is to see the players in pursuit of game, and not game in pursuit of players.

Something attempted, something done.


The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to give up.


If well used, experience are the best of all things; if abused, among the worst.
