网游从P2P(play to pay)到F2P(free to play)已成大势所驱

网游通常都采用收费模式,但很多人更喜欢玩免费的。于是“永久免费”的牌子出现了...玩家可以免费玩游戏了,但天底下没有免费的午餐,运营商开始在线卖道具换钱...让上了这条船的玩家继续玩...

在国内我们可以看到一股“免费网游”的巨大浪潮。甚至有很多收月费收了几个月甚至几年的游戏都开始转成免费。大多数这些免费游戏都采用售卖游戏内道具的形式。

我能明白这一趋势是游戏行业对那些钱少玩家的感受、需求和对游戏的评定所做出的一种反馈。

在这种免费进入,道具消费的模式下,玩家可以想呆多久呆多久,只购买自己需要的内容。当然,花得更多还是更少了,玩家自己很清楚。

 

 

MMORPG is normally using "Pay to Play" rules, but there's people prefer play with free. So there is "free to play forever" method implemented... where player can play the game for free, but there is no free lunch, they're trying to do business by selling in-game item with online cash money... this is to keep serious player to continue their games...

In China we are starting to see a huge trend of many MMORPG's launching with "free" entry price system. There are even some MMO game titles migrating to "free-entry" price system after having run as a flat-rate monthly subscription type for over months, or even years.Most of those free-entry MMOs are offering sales (in exchange of real money) of in-game materials item by item.

I understand this trend to be one of the responses from the gaming industry to feelings, needs and evaluations from players with little money.

With the "free-entry" and price-per-item system, you'd stay online as often and/or long as you wish, and pay only for what you want as you play. Sure, Whether this will cost one less - or more - is probably yet to be observed.
